| Description: | TIS (Traffic Impact Study) of Judiciary Building in the Al Jimi Region of Al Ain. Two buildings existed on the plot; 12,666sqm Sharia Court and 10,353sqm Attorney General Office.
The proposed development consisted of an extension to the rear of the Attorney General Office and a new building to be constructed between the two existing buildings, which will serve as a Centre Court, therefore inter-connecting all Departments together. The total floor area of the proposed extension will be approximately 24,822sqm. DCE was appointed to conduct a full TIS/TMP in accordance with DoT ‘Transportation Impact Study Guidelines 2012’. Levels of Service (LOS) at junctions and links within the study area were analysed to check the impact of the proposed development on the surrounding area. The proposed development generates 330 trips in the peak hour. |
